Pie menus are great. They let you turn menu options into giant target zones so you can select items super fast.
Voxie had a problem with theirs, though. It wasn’t always clear to users that when you clicked outside the menu, you were selecting an item instead of closing the menu.
To improve things, I added a colored disk under the mouse that matches the color of the node you are selecting. I then added a connector to the node to further confirm what will happen when you click.
