I'm Patrick Hill, a Principal UI Designer at Voxie.
I've been working as a designer for almost 20 years. My career started in advertising but I quickly became obsessed with user interfaces where I could combine design and code to bring static art to life. You can check out my recent work to get a better idea of what I do.

So, what else is there?

Let's see, I like being outside. Walking in the woods, running with my kid, and goofing around on the playground with my other kid.

Oh, and there's fly fishing. I love walking the small streams in the park near my house. The fish aren't anything special but I get to work on my casting technique and the light is beautiful in the mornings.

And reading. Sci-fi is my favorite. I found a new sub-genre recently called solar punk that gives me good vibes. Check out Moonbound and A Psalm for the Wild-Built if you're interested.

And then there's bread. I make it. I know it's a cliché but I love it. The sourdough starter is like a little pet that I get to eat. I call it Bready Murphy if I'm feeling funny, Bready van Halen if I'm feeling energetic.
